Job Description

At Amentum, a contract-based Technical Support Engineer Installer will be on site in Alexandria, Virginia, surveying, installing, and configuring a Wireless Intrusion Detection System at classified customer locations. The role offers fluid scheduling and periods of ongoing work to support security deployments that require careful coordination with client sites and operational constraints.

Responsibilities

Antenna and bracket assembly
Installation above drop ceilings
Pulling and terminating Ethernet cables
Potentially transporting equipment between buildings
Executing tasks in accordance with all applicable Amentum safety standards
Work in an environment with a mix of business hours and after-business hours, depending on customer building availability

Requirements

Prior experience with current installation procedures, including potential conduit bending and installation (preferred)
Ability to climb step ladders up to approximately 10 feet
Capability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and carry at least 15 lbs of equipment
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 85 per hour

Job Description

The Help Desk Analyst role supports a Joint Interagency Task Force by handling IT user queries, processing access requests, and routing tickets to enable rapid delivery of Joint C-sUAS capabilities.

Responsibilities

Apply expertise to multiple complex work assignments, often broad in scope, requiring innovative approaches to how tasks are completed.
Operate with substantial latitude to develop methods and present solutions to problems.
Contribute to project deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
Respond to user queries and troubleshoot IT systems to resolve issues.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance required at start date.
