Job Description

Plano, TX onsite role for a bilingual Korean-English system administrator and service desk professional supporting hardware, software, and network issues across a global user base.

Responsibilities

Provide bilingual Korean-English technical support via help desk systems, assisting users with hardware, software, and network issues promptly and professionally
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve problems across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
Manage Active Directory accounts, including user provisioning, GPO configurations, and permission management
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and related TCP techniques
Support IT infrastructure components such as Windows Server environments, AD management, DNS configuration, and security measures
Assist with equipment setup, configuration, upgrades, and repairs, recording all support activities in the ticketing system
Collaborate with teammates to identify recurring issues and implement proactive solutions to improve system stability and security

Requirements

Fluent written and spoken English and Korean to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
Minimum 1 year of IT support or help desk experience with a strong focus on desktop support and hardware troubleshooting
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is essential for effective user communication
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with help desk ticketing systems
Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting
Hands-on experience supporting Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, Linux, and mobile devices
Knowledge of Active Directory management and GPO configuration for access control and security policies
Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and accurately
Excellent communication skills and customer service in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Job Description

This onsite Plano, TX role focuses on data center hardware installation and frontline technical support, with travel up to 50 percent and a salary range of USD 70,304 - 148,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Maintain rack elevations and cable maps for customer project deployments.
Support the installation of server, storage, and networking hardware.
Perform physical installation tasks including racking, stacking, cabling, and network wiring in data centers.
Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure seamless hardware integration and deployment per specifications.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure proper hardware deployment in line with technical requirements.
Conduct post installation quality checks and verify system functionality.

Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support.
Demonstrated hardware system diagnostics skills with a solid understanding of how BIOS, drivers, and application loads can cause system issues.
Ability to solve problems and make decisions as needed.
Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic, fast paced environment; solution-oriented, a collaborative team member, with the initiative to escalate issues promptly and drive solutions.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
