Help Desk Support Spec 1

Entry-level help desk role supporting computer system users at a state prison.

Responsibilities

• Assist computer system users with questions and technical issues.
• Provide client support primarily in person, with additional support channels including telephone, email, and remote locations.
• Answer questions and resolve computer problems for clients using appropriate troubleshooting and support procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of experience providing software or hardware customer and technical support.

Position level

• Serves as the entry level Operations Analysis Technician at a state prison.
