IT Support Specialist

Quantam Solutions is hiring an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site desktop support at the Little Sandy Correctional Complex in Sandy Hook, KY. This role supports approximately 275 devices and works within DOC expectations in a correctional environment. The position offers an hourly rate of USD 21 to 22, with benefits including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, a health savings account, life insurance, paid time off, and a referral program.

What you’ll do

• Deliver desktop support for devices such as tablets, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and phones.
• Help troubleshoot and support security cameras, servers, and network switches as needed.
• Resolve IT issues promptly and efficiently to minimize disruption for DOC staff.
• Follow DOC policies while working in a correctional environment, including interactions with both staff and inmates as required.
• Complete mandatory training, including a three-week orientation focused on prison-specific protocols and general employee orientation.

What you bring

• Minimum 1–2 years of desktop support experience, including troubleshooting and maintenance of devices such as tablets, desktops, laptops, printers, and phones.
• Helpful familiarity with security cameras, servers, and network switches.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate and work professionally in a correctional facility environment.
• Ability to pass a DOC background check and extensive drug screening.
• Adaptability to work in a prison atmosphere, including the ability to interact with inmates when necessary.
