Technical Support - Proprietary Healthcare EDI
Job Description
This Tier 3 Technical Support position is part of the EDI Technical team, supporting internal and external systems. The role focuses on scripting medical billing and claim data transformations using a proprietary scripting language to meet payer requirements and client needs.
Role Overview
As a member of the EDI Service/EDI Technical Team, you will work on claim-related conversions and edits that ensure submissions align with payer expectations. You will also collaborate with the EDI Dev Team to address system issues and client requests while working across multiple business units and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Script medical billing converts and edits using a proprietary scripting language to ensure claims meet all payer requirements.
- Work with the ANSI 837 primary, secondary, and COB claim structure, including its organization and functionality.
- Partner with the EDI Dev Team to resolve system issues and respond to client requests.
- Create custom edits and converts using proprietary software.
- Understand the limitations, uses, and functionality of XpressBiller and QuickScript, ensuring logic is built in the proper formatting using the Edit Wizard.
- Assess desired outcomes against feasible options to implement requests without compromising existing logic for single clients and Quadax-level standards.
- Support multiple business units and teams as assignments require.
- Assist in identifying product shortcomings and potential enhancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- Knowledge of EDI is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills

Compensation
Salary range: $40,000 to $50,000 per year.
