Desktop Support Technician I
Job Description
Oasis Date Processing is seeking an entry-level Desktop Support Technician I to join its onsite team in Yuma, AZ. Under the guidance of the IT Manager, you will deliver tier-1 assistance across desktop, help desk, network, application support, and storage and backup, helping keep end-user systems reliable. The position offers a yearly salary in the USD 47,000 to 52,000 range.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tier-1 support and troubleshooting for deploying, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software components of Oasis Date's IT infrastructure.
- Create and manage Help Desk tickets, resolving issues or escalating as appropriate.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Oasis Date's computer hardware, including laptops, desktops, mobile units, and laser and thermal printers, and provide user training as required.
- Record and track the organization's computer hardware inventory.
- Manage IT asset shipping/receiving processes, including unboxing, labeling, and tracking items to maintain accurate inventory.
- Install and support basic hardware and software using prepackaged installers and documented procedures.
- Review technical information about hardware, software, and operating systems to evaluate product usefulness.
- Assist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network and client-side connectivity hardware and software.
- Provision and modify user access to Oasis Date's Famous ERP system.
- Coordinate with other Oasis Date departments and partners on technology projects as required.
- Install, maintain/repair, program, and test surveillance equipment.
- Perform other related duties as required.
