In-Home Sales & Tech Support
Job Description
This is a full-time, in-home field role with Asurion based in Ontario, California. The position requires daily travel to customer residences to serve, solve, and sell tech solutions, supported by paid training and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers at their homes, offices, or other convenient locations.
- Engage with pre-scheduled visits to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering strong service.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout every interaction, keeping the customer first.
- Apply technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues, offering clear solutions for customers with varying levels of tech knowledge.
- Ensure customers leave with a workable resolution and a product that supports their future tech needs.
- Present solutions from Asurion’s expanding product lineup, tailoring choices to individual customers.
- Listen actively to uncover needs and position products accordingly to meet those requirements.
- Leverage negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close appropriate sales.
- Begin with paid training to prepare for independent field work.
- In the field, continuously apply the Serve, Solve, Sell approach to every engagement.
Requirements
- Comfortable in a sales environment with defined targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
- Proof of valid car insurance, with the exception of Manhattan.
- Own a personal vehicle (no motorcycles). Travel typically occurs within neighborhoods and cities surrounding the inventory warehouse, with a one-way distance up to 120 miles.
- Ability to work a varied five-day schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad set of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
- Naturally outgoing and comfortable with human interaction.
- Note: work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand, with some flexibility required.
Benefits
- Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly pay and the option to access earned pay early.
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.

- Monthly phone stipend of $35.
- 3 to 4 weeks of paid training focused on ensuring success in the role.
Pay Rate
Hourly rate of $20.90, plus mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commissions.
Full-Time Schedule
Five days per week, from 12:05 pm to 8:00 pm.
