IS HELP DESK SYSTEMS ANALYST

Sinai Chicago is seeking an Help Desk Systems Analyst to provide on-site support for end users across PC and server environments. Reporting under general direction, this role focuses on restoring service, troubleshooting operating difficulties, and contributing to a secure enterprise information center.

Working in Chicago, IL (onsite), you will support hospital technology needs, perform system analysis and backups, and recommend systems modifications that help reduce recurring user issues. The position also involves staying current in your technical specialty and applying structured methodologies to deliver optimized operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support to end users for PC and/or server applications and hardware.
• Coordinate with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommend systems modifications aimed at reducing user problems.
• Perform system analysis and backup processes.
• Support the security of the Enterprise Information Center.
• Maintain currency and work to achieve the highest level of technical skill within your area of expertise.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a health care setting (required).
• Experience with Meditech clinical modules is highly desirable: pDoc, CPOE, PWM, PCM.
• Experience implementing industry best practices to drive optimized operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication with technical and clinical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional organizational skills for a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to articulate customer business problems.
• Experience with ITIL and SDLC methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (required).
