Job Description

Calance US is seeking a Level I IT Help Desk Analyst to join the onsite team in Middletown, CT. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role offers a competitive pay range of 27.00 to 30.00 USD per hour and an ongoing contract. You will deliver Tier 1 IT support via telephone and remote assistance while handling DCF User Administration forms, providing a stable, on-site work experience for local candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver responsive support to agency end users and escalate issues as needed.
  • Process agency user forms for moves, adds, and changes.
  • Follow established procedures to create and modify user accounts across various agency systems.
  • Provide telephone and remote-control support for level one computer issues and assist with processing and maintaining DCF User Administration forms.
  • Collaborate with other state agencies as required to complete processing tasks.
  • Receive forms from agency staff, verify completeness, update system administration records, and ensure proper retention of forms.
  • Review forms for completeness and help customers properly complete them.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience providing IT Level I Help Desk support.
  • 1+ years of experience with PC hardware and software installation.
  • 1+ years of experience providing end-user support, both face-to-face and via telephone.
  • Excellent oral communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid CT driver's license and ability to travel to different locations when needed.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check.
  • US Citizenship or permanent resident status (Green Card) required.

Highly Desirable Skills

  • Experience with computer system and user administration.
  • Technical familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows 10, Windows 11, and Office 365.
  • Experience with device management, device imaging, and device troubleshooting.
