IT Support Specialist - TS/SCI with Polygraph

General Dynamics Information Technology invites skilled IT professionals to join as an on site IT Support Specialist in Vienna, VA. You will deliver Tier 1 and 2 IT support and provide VTC services on site, collaborating with cross functional teams to support secure and mission critical networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support on mission IT systems and networks across secure and unsecure fabrics
• Deliver remote desktop assistance to resolve critical IT issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 technical problems
• Deploy and validate hardware and software configurations
• Lead Tier 2 deployments and develop training resources for rollout
• Utilize an enterprise ticketing system to document and track incidents
• Offer superior customer service and effective issue resolution
• Address technical challenges efficiently to maintain operation continuity

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support on mission IT systems and networks across secure and unsecure fabrics
• Strong customer service orientation and problem solving abilities
• Experience coordinating with service providers to resolve IT systems, connectivity, and network issues
• Experience supporting VTC functions including Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Skype
• Experience delivering mission IT software and hardware support, including desktops, printers, UPS, data transfer requests, and assisting with deploying COTS and GOTS applications
• Ability to work across multiple organizations with competing priorities while adhering to security policies
• Experience enabling IT system requirements in mission oriented environments
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non technical audiences
• Proven remote desktop support experience
• Experience addressing user inquiries about software and hardware operation
• Proficiency with enterprise tools for incident documentation and tracking
• Team minded with ability to collaborate across management levels
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, or experience
• Authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizenship Required)
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Location: Vienna, VA on customer site
• Work Schedule: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
