Job Description

Join Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington in an on-site IT Support Technician role in Wenatchee, WA. This position supports end users across Catholic Charities and Catholic Charities Housing Services, with an emphasis on hands-on troubleshooting, reliable service, and independent execution of assigned tasks and projects. The role operates Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, and offers a wage range of $24.50 - $29.00 per hour based on experience.

What you’ll do

  • Provide technical support by researching answers, troubleshooting user issues, maintaining workstation performance, and supporting local machine network performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues across PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain desktops and laptops, including account setup, password resets, and user access requests.
  • Monitor compliance with service agreements and identify performance problems, recommending changes to improve systems.
  • Track all staff technical support requests and maintain documentation in a ticketing system (2025).
  • Implement updates and development changes to company computer systems and networks.
  • Assist with procurement and installation of new computers, software, and other IT equipment, and support operation monitoring and network maintenance.
  • Support phone, voicemail, and conferencing systems for office locations, including creating and updating employee phone and voicemail accounts and configuring Dial-in-Direct (DID) extensionss.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding by preparing and collecting IT equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and supplies.
  • Provide support across locations as requested using a company vehicle (when available) or through mileage reimbursement.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to IT emergency (911) pages and support video conferencing needs.

What you bring

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1 year of experience working with computer hardware and software required.
  • Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Information Technology preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, MAC OS, and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff and managers.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with designated timelines.
  • Ability to keep records and information confidential and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license and minimum liability insurance for WA State, and must be deemed insurable by Catholic Charities’ liability insurance provider.
  • Certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Microsoft certifications.
  • Must be cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required.

Physical and eligibility requirements

This role typically requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, keyboard fingering and other low physical exertion work, along with regular talking and hearing, up to 80% of the time.

Employment is conditional upon being cleared by a criminal background check and fingerprinting when required.

Schedule and wage range

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, in-person.

Wage range: $24.50 - $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
