Job Description

Part-time IT Support Technician position in San Diego, onsite, supporting a law firm with IT administration and technical support under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with IT support, including troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Coordinates with IT to resolve tech issues with computers, printers, scanners, and other office equipment
  • Assists with IT training and support to local office staff
  • Works with IT and Office Services to manage inventory of office supplies and IT equipment
  • Performs general administrative tasks and support, such as photocopying and scanning documents
  • Files and organizes legal documents and correspondence in physical and/or electronic formats. Performs printing projects and bates stamping
  • Collects, labels, and organizes office documents, reports, and confidential records, including encrypted documents and email correspondence
  • Sorts and delivers incoming mail and collects and sends outgoing mail/FedEx/packages
  • Monitors and maintains general facilities such as conference rooms and kitchen areas

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of Firm legal software systems, such as iCreate, NetDocs, Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to balance and meet competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient knowledge of legal terminology and procedures

Formal Education

  • Some college preferred

Experience

  • Level 1 IT Support: 2 years (Preferred)

Pay

  • USD 22.50 - 25.00 per hour
