IT Support Technician II

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is hiring an IT Support Technician II to provide hands-on technology support for departments, faculty, staff, and students at its location in Odessa, TX. This onsite role focuses on troubleshooting and assistance across common hardware needs, with additional support and maintenance for select software areas tied to the department or unit.

With a specialization that aligns to departmental requirements, the IT Support Technician II helps ensure end users can effectively use the hardware and software systems supporting day-to-day work and learning.

What you’ll do

• Deliver technical support and assistance to departments, faculty, staff, and students, with a focus on basic hardware
• Provide some software support and maintenance
• Develop specialization in the hardware and software that are relevant to the specific department or unit

Compensation and location

• Location: Odessa, TX (onsite)
• Pay: USD 23 - 26 per hour

The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable assisting a broad range of users and supporting both hardware and limited software needs, with responsibility for the systems most important to the team they support.
