MVS Level II Technical Support Analyst

Seneca Technology Corporation is seeking an MVS Level II Technical Support Analyst to support IBM MVS z/OS environments from an onsite location in Ramsey, NJ. In this role, you will provide telephone support and partner with experienced system programmers to investigate and resolve complex issues involving the operating system and associated software.

You will handle incident analysis from multiple angles, including reviewing system artifacts and communicating effectively with technical stakeholders at customer sites. The position focuses on deeper problem-solving for z/OS systems, leveraging practical knowledge of IBM utilities and DASD management.

What you’ll do

• Work with experienced system programmers from customer sites to analyze and resolve complex problems tied to the associated software and the operating system.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems involving the associated software and the operating system.

What you’ll need

• Knowledge of IBM MVS z/OS Assembler language.
• Some experience with DASD management and IBM utilities.
• Telephone-support experience.
• Ability to read and analyze dumps.
