Technical Support - Tier 1
Job Description
This Tier 1 Technical Support role supports election site operations by helping keep poll site technology functioning reliably. You will troubleshoot equipment and systems, coordinate with election staff and poll workers, and share timely updates with supervisors as issues arise.

Compensation
USD 25 - 32 per hour
Role Summary
Provide Tier 1 technical support for election site operations and technology needs. The position focuses on maintaining poll site equipment readiness, addressing technical incidents, troubleshooting problems that affect poll operations, and communicating changes or urgent issues to election leadership and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and support poll site equipment to support operational readiness
- Respond to technical incidents and troubleshoot issues affecting poll site operations
- Collaborate with election staff and poll workers to resolve equipment concerns
- Communicate updates, changes, and urgent issues to supervisors as needed
Requirements
- Understanding of computer hardware and software systems
- Experience troubleshooting technology issues and identifying root causes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
