Job Description

EasyIT is hiring a Helpdesk Technician for an on-site Managed Services Provider support role in Central Ohio (Dublin, OH).

Responsibilities

Respond to client support requests and manage incoming tickets
Provide desktop support to client users and troubleshoot desktop issues
Deliver basic technical support at the network level, covering LAN and WAN
Communicate with customers as needed, including updates on incident progress and notifications for impending changes and agreed outages
Track and update issue status and work progress in the company ticketing system
Work with the IT team to resolve escalated problems and maintain client support quality

Requirements

Excellent Customer Service skills
Ability to follow direction from the Client Services manager and coordinate with the Dispatcher to handle service requests
Desktop OS troubleshooting experience
Desktop builds experience
Virus eradication experience
Basic networking concepts knowledge

Job Description

Based in Dublin, Ohio, this on-site Service Desk Technician role supports the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands by delivering first-level IT assistance for desktops, software, and network connectivity. The focus is on strong customer service and first-contact resolution, with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST.

Responsibilities

Log all customer contacts, problems, and requests in the company issue-tracking system.
Maintain thorough documentation, follow up promptly, escalate when needed, and drive issue resolution.
Serve as the central liaison between customers and the IT organization.
Follow established workflows and service level objectives to resolve issues efficiently across teams.
Leverage the IT knowledge base to troubleshoot and research issues, and share insights with customers and teammates.
May participate in release and regression testing of in-house applications.
Physical requirements include remaining in a stationary position, moving around the office and occasionally outside, and operating a keyboard.
This is a full-time, on-site role requiring in-person attendance.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
At least one year of related customer service experience.
Microsoft Certified Professional, Network+ and/or A+ credentials preferred.
Solid familiarity with Windows 10/11, Outlook, Edge or Chrome, Office 365, Dell devices, and network printers.
Strong familiarity with Active Directory and performing basic tasks such as permissions changes and password resets.
Experience with basic enterprise network troubleshooting.
Citrix and Citrix Management Console experience is a plus.
Basic Exchange knowledge is a plus.
Team-oriented with solid customer service and communication skills.
Able to adapt to shifting priorities and directions.
