Overview

Location and Work Setup

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. This is an onsite, in-person role requiring daily presence in the assigned location.

Compensation

Hourly pay range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.

Experience and Education

Minimum experience: 5 years
Education: High school diploma

Key Responsibilities

Handle support calls, maintenance requests, and after-hours emergencies
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across security platforms
Perform remote system testing, configuration updates, and preventative maintenance
Program and support CCTV and networked security devices
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and system documentation
Document all service work and contribute to performance and workflow improvements
Support team operations through mentoring, escalation handling, and SLA compliance

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication abilities
Advanced troubleshooting skills in CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, and networking
Ability to read technical diagrams and understand CAD-based designs
Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
