Calibration & Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
CT Industrial Products is seeking a Calibration and Technical Support Specialist to join its Gas Detection Service Team in Union, Missouri. The role focuses on testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing gas detection equipment, while delivering hands-on service and clear technical support to customers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair portable and fixed gas detection equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues and prepare repair estimates for customers.
- Support the team by preparing quotations and following up with customers.
- Identify replacement parts using schematics, parts lists, and manufacturer documentation.
- Answer customer technical questions by phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.
- Assist customers with repair recommendations, product selection, and service solutions.
- Work closely with purchasing, shipping, and customer service to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience repairing electronics or electro-mechanical equipment.
- Comfortable using a digital multimeter (Fluke meter) and basic electronic test equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting.
- Experience with small parts, hand tools, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read parts lists, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong computer and Microsoft Teams skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and a willingness to learn.
- Clean driving record.
