Associate IT Support Analyst
Job Description
Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC is seeking an Associate IT Support Analyst to provide Tier 1 support for a range of information systems. The role is based in Michigan City, IN and focuses on troubleshooting end-user computing issues while supporting installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and documentation activities.
Role Overview
This position serves as a first-line IT analyst for internal users, supporting desktop environments and other technical issues. The associate will assess user requirements, procedures, and problems to troubleshoot and diagnose desktop support concerns, and will participate in ongoing analysis, deployment, and support for business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal end-users, including user computing support.
- Perform Active Directory user management.
- Install, maintain, and monitor IT equipment, which may include network and server infrastructure and application systems.
- Assist with employee onboarding, including PC imaging, cell phone provisioning, and other tasks for newly hired employees.
- Support software availability across multi-platforms and technology stacks.
- Identify, document, and prioritize application requirements for the technical landscape.
- Support development and deployment throughout the Hitachi Global Air Power Business Systems Lifecycle.
- Apply knowledge of multiple tools and technologies to resolve unusually complex problems with innovation and ingenuity.
- Use knowledge of network topology to support network troubleshooting.
- Learn new skills quickly to support an ever-changing IT environment.
- Use Microsoft Office applications to develop standard work and training documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in IT or Business; or 3 years of experience.
- 1-3 years of professional experience.
- Manages time effectively, meets deadlines, and achieves established goals and objectives.
- Helps establish, accomplish, and continuously evaluate goals.
- Takes responsibility for the accuracy of work processes and the flow of multiple tasks.
- Demonstrates drive for continuous improvement of business processes and overall customer satisfaction.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technology to support solution adoption.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, including Office 365.
