Help Desk Analyst
Job Description
The Help Desk Analyst role supports a government client in Quantico, Virginia, handling frontline technical support, incident management, and user account administration. This position is based onsite with potential growth into Security Operations, Information Assurance, System Administration, Network Engineering, and Unified Communications within Geospatial and Cloud Analytics (GCA).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users
- Open and resolve service requests and incident tickets
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
- Assist with user account provisioning and permission management
- Coordinate with system administrators and developers to close incidents and ensure service delivery
- Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Follow standard operating procedures for incident management and escalation
- Deliver high quality customer service across various circumstances and organizational levels
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in customer service support
- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Active Directory experience is preferred
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II eligible certification candidates: GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security
- Top Secret clearance is required to begin SCI-level adjudication; TS/SCI clearance is preferred

- CompTIA Security+ (Required)
Security Clearance
Secret clearance is required. Top Secret clearance is required to start SCI adjudication, with TS/SCI preferred.
