Help Desk Technician
Job Description
The Help Desk Technician role provides essential Level 1 system support for Driveway Finance Corporation employees, manages hardware ordering processes, and aids in daily department operations. Based in Tigard, Oregon on a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days from home), this position reports to the Business Systems Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 1 support for DFC systems and assist with ticket creation and updates via inbound inquiries
- Provide basic ticketing support and track issues to resolution
- Coordinate system support issues with Business Analysts, Lithia IT support, and third‑party vendors to meet DFC SLA targets
- Troubleshoot and provide hardware and software support for end users
- Assist with DFC phone system management, support, and monitoring
- Support updating, testing, and implementing new systems for DFC
- Process onboarding, transfers, off-boarding tickets and documentation; provide first day support for new employees
- Handle hardware requests, station setup, and help manage the DFC technology inventory
- Perform diverse supportive tasks requiring prompt attention
- Process correspondence and forms, including scanning and saving documents as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Working knowledge of phone and network technologies
- One year of technical support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)

Education
- High School graduate or equivalent
