Help Technician/IT Support

Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an onsite Help Technician/IT Support to keep day-to-day technology running smoothly in Houston, TX. In this role, you will troubleshoot computer networks and systems, work closely with internal staff and administrators, and provide mobile device management (MDM) support.

You will bring a strong foundation in hardware, software, and networking to identify issues, explain them clearly to both technical and nontechnical users, and coordinate repairs when vendor support is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support by identifying, investigating, and resolving user issues involving computer software and hardware, specifically for the organization’s computer networks and systems.
• Use knowledge of software, hardware, and established procedures to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with other staff to research, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues.
• Work with systems and network administrators to explain errors and recommend modifications to systems and networks.
• Coordinate service with software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
• Stay current on technology innovations and trends to support effective issue resolution.
• Handle other related duties as assigned.
• MDM Support (mobile device management) to help manage organizational mobile devices.

• Superior understanding of computer and networking hardware and software systems.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and MS-Azure (or related software).
• Proficient with, or able to quickly learn, a broad array of networking and systems hardware and software.

Education and Experience

• At least one year of related experience required; preferred.
