HVAC Field Technical Support Representative
Job Description
Join Rheem Manufacturing as a Field Technical Support Representative supporting commercial HVAC customers across the Southern US district. This onsite, field-based role combines hands-on technical support with customer coaching, site investigations, and collaboration with internal teams. What you’ll do
- Deliver tier-one escalation and diagnostic support for complex commercial HVAC and building control issues.
- Provide training and mentoring for customers and HVAC technicians, covering best practices, safety protocols, installation, troubleshooting, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct site visits to investigate product failures, manufacturing defects, and support on-the-job training for customers.
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve field issues.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you bring
- Associate’s degree in a technical field.
- 5+ years of direct HVAC or industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present training to large groups.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to fully perform physical functions of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds, crawling, and climbing.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

- Prior instructor or training experience (preferred).
- NATE or other industry certifications (preferred).
