Job Description

HVACDirect.com is seeking an experienced HVAC Tech Support Representative to join their Albany, Oregon team on the first shift. This in-office role centers on remote diagnosis and troubleshooting of residential HVAC systems, handling inbound support calls, and contributing to technical documentation for customers and licensed installers nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource for customers and licensed installers across the country.
  • Handle inbound HVAC technical support calls.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems remotely.
  • Review installation scenarios to identify root causes.
  • Manage and resolve support tickets in the tracking system.
  • Provide clear, step-by-step troubleshooting guidance.
  • Document all technical cases accurately.
  • Escalate complex cases when appropriate.
  • Contribute to internal technical documentation and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of hands-on HVAC field experience.
  • Strong residential HVAC troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
  • Comfortable working on a computer while handling calls.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Schedule

  • 1st Shift: 09:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Willingness to work 1–2 weekend days bi-monthly
