Job Description

Tempe, AZ on-site, full-time opportunity with Asurion that pays $24 per hour. This role combines in-home sales with tech support, featuring paid training, a five-day schedule, and consistent opportunities to assist customers, solve their tech needs, and grow your sales results.

Responsibilities

  • Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are, with pre-scheduled interactions to help you reach and exceed sales targets
  • Deliver superior customer service throughout every touchpoint, keeping the customer first
  • Apply your knowledge to diagnose and resolve tech issues and present clear, understandable solutions
  • Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that supports future tech needs
  • Offer tailored solutions by leveraging Asurion's growing product lineup
  • Actively listen to identify customer needs and align product recommendations accordingly
  • Utilize negotiation and communication skills to pivot effectively and close appropriate sales
  • Complete paid training to prepare for independent field work

Requirements

  • Comfortable in a sales environment with targets
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded)
  • A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles); travel within neighborhoods and cities around the inventory warehouse, up to 120 miles one-way
  • A varied five-day work week to align with customer availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A personal cellphone for on-the-job updates
  • Comfortable working around household pets
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication abilities
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning across a broad skill set
  • Naturally outgoing and comfortable with frequent human interaction
  • Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required
