In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Full-Time)

Local, in-home field role for Asurion in Inglewood, CA, with daily travel to customer residences and onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in-home, in-office, or other locations, with pre-scheduled visits to help you reach and exceed sales targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout each interaction, always prioritizing the customer.
• Use technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues, delivering clear, understandable solutions for customers of all skill levels.
• Ensure customers leave with a workable resolution and a product that supports their future tech needs.
• Leverage Asurion's growing product lineup to tailor recommendations to each customer.
• Listen actively to identify needs and position products that address them effectively.
• Apply negotiation and communication skills to guide conversations toward the right sale.
• Begin with paid training to prepare you for independent field work.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
• Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Travel to customer appointments may require trips up to 120 miles one-way.
• Work a varied 5-day week schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job.
• Comfortable working around household pets.
• Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
• Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills applicable to multiple careers.
• Naturally outgoing and comfortable engaging with customers.
• Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.

Benefits

• Base hourly rate is guaranteed for all hours worked and paid bi-weekly; earned pay can be accessed early.
• Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
• Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
• $35 phone stipend, paid monthly.
• 3 to 4 weeks of paid training where success is the priority.

Full-Time Schedule

• 5 evenings per week with a choice of shifts: 12:05 PM to 9:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Pay Rate

• $23.85/hour plus mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commission.
