Asurion offers a part time in home role that blends hands on sales with practical tech support, delivered with a focus on learning and customer care. You’ll travel daily to customer residences and benefit from a guaranteed base hourly rate, mileage reimbursement, a phone stipend, and sales commissions, all within an evenings oriented work schedule.

  • Guaranteed base hourly rate for all hours worked with bi weekly pay and early access to earned wages
  • Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi weekly
  • Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly
  • Phone stipend of $35 paid monthly
  • Three weeks of paid training to help you succeed

Responsibilities

  • Apply the Serve, Solve, Sell framework to assist customers in the field
  • Begin with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field
  • Learn products and gain hands on sales experience while developing communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills; ongoing coaching supports growth
  • Use the Serve, Solve, Sell model in the field by meeting customers in home or in office, pre scheduling interactions, and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Address and resolve customers' tech issues to ensure a usable resolution and products that address future tech needs
  • Leverage Asurion’s product lineup to offer tailored solutions; listen actively to identify customer needs; use negotiation and communication skills to close sales

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year driving experience
  • Proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan)
  • Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer service appointments are located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse. Maximum travel distance expected is 120 miles one-way
  • Varied 5 day work week designed to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job
  • Comfortable around household pets
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal oriented and persuasive communication skills
  • Open minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills
  • Naturally outgoing and enjoys human interaction
  • Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required

Part time schedule

5 evenings per week — Hours: 4:05 pm to 9:00 pm

About the role

We are looking for In-Home Sales and Tech Support professionals to work during our busiest hours. This entry level role is well suited for someone starting their career who enjoys talking to people and wants hands on sales experience.

As In-Home Sales & Tech Support, you will be on the front lines helping customers through our Serve, Solve, Sell approach. You will start with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
