Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist customers on the front lines using the Serve, Solve, Sell framework.
- Complete paid training before operating independently in the field.
- Build product knowledge and gain hands-on sales experience while improving communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Receive ongoing coaching and mentorship to support growth and maintain tech confidence.
- Meet customers in their homes, at an office, or at alternative locations as needed.
- Pre-scheduled customer interactions arranged by Asurion to help you reach and exceed sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional service throughout the engagement, prioritizing the customer experience.
- Diagnose and resolve tech issues using clear, understandable explanations for customers with varying tech knowledge.
- Ensure each customer leaves with a workable resolution and a product that addresses future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion’s expanding product lineup to tailor solutions to individual customers.
- Listen actively to identify needs and position products that meet those needs.
- Apply strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close the right sale.
Requirements
- Experience in a sales environment with defined targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
- Proof of valid car insurance (note: Manhattan area excluded).
- Own a personal vehicle (no motorcycles); travel up to 120 miles one-way from the inventory warehouse.
- Ability to work a varied 5-day week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected while on the job.
- Comfort working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communicator.
- Open-minded and eager to learn a broad set of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
- Outgoing personality suited to frequent face-to-face interaction.
- Flexibility as hours may vary based on business needs and market demand.

Pay Rate
$23.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commission.
Part-Time Schedule
- Part-time role with availability in the afternoon and evenings.
- Most positions follow a 5-day schedule from 4:05 PM to 9:00 PM, with end times varying by customer needs.
- In select markets, a flexible 4+ day option may be available: require 25 hours per week across at least 4 days, including one weekend day; shifts run 12:05 PM to 9:00 PM; start as late as 4:00 PM but must be available until 9:00 PM on scheduled days.
