Job Description

On-site IT Helpdesk Support (Tier I) at Wilshire Law Firm in Los Angeles, CA, offering USD 24 - 28 per hour and providing day-to-day support for Windows desktops/laptops, Microsoft 365, Intune, network services, and meeting/audio/video systems within a collaborative IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily technical support for users and systems, covering Windows desktops/laptops, Microsoft 365, Intune device management, network infrastructure, video conferencing, Universal Print, and PDF workflows.
  • Monitor incoming IT tickets and respond promptly to meet the department SLAs.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, monitors, and peripheral equipment for new and existing users.
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including system access and equipment provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot common issues such as performance problems, login/password issues, printer connectivity, email delivery failures, account lockouts, and meeting connection audio/video issues.
  • Escalate unresolved or high-impact issues to senior IT staff or vendors, documenting troubleshooting steps and escalation rationale.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, software, and user licenses.
  • Ensure systems remain operational and provide support during outages.
  • Document all support activities, resolutions, and communications in the ticketing system.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to users and create a welcoming, positive experience with every interaction.
  • Foster a friendly, approachable, team-oriented environment and build trust with colleagues and end users.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of IT Helpdesk Support or a similar role is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn, with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • On-site availability in the Downtown Los Angeles area, Monday through Friday.
