Job Description

Onsite IT Support Engineer (French/English bilingual) in Midtown Manhattan for a long-term independent-contractor role focusing on end-user support and infrastructure operations within the banking sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Provision and deprovision user accounts and system access.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support meeting rooms and collaboration technologies.
  • Deliver white-glove IT support to executives.
  • Monitor and maintain network equipment.
  • Manage onsite IT hardware and asset inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors and building management.
  • Perform routine system health checks.
  • Follow up on incidents and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in onsite IT support or IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of end-user computing and networking.
  • Familiar with IT support processes and documentation.
  • Good understanding of IT security and access management.
  • Professional, customer-focused, and well organized.
  • Able to work independently and within an international team.
  • Fluent in both French and English.

Pay

  • USD 95,000 - 115,000 per year
