Job Description

As an IT Support Tech I for CTI III LLC in Folsom, CA (onsite), you will be part of a knowledgeable, growing, high-achieving and fun team while helping local and remote users get the technology support they need, quickly and accurately.
What you’ll do
You’ll provide first level IT support and customer service, installing, testing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, software, and peripherals for local and remote users. You will also handle onboarding and termination requests, support access and device setup, perform basic security incident triage, and maintain documentation for end users and internal knowledge bases.
- Deliver first level hardware and software support to local and remote users using documented procedures and available tools.
- Troubleshoot basic PC and PC peripheral issues, network connectivity, and telephony equipment.
- Complete voicemail-related tasks, including voicemail password resets and voicemail mailbox resets.
- Manage cabling and perform name changes, along with support for tools such as Teams and Zoom.
- Respond to and complete IT support requests in a timely manner.
- Process onboarding and termination requests according to ISMS policy.
- Comply with all IT policies, procedures, and processes related to your role.
- Set up and administer building access badges, alarm codes, workstations, Apple iPhones, and other cellular devices.
- Triage basic security incidents and document findings.
- Document end user and internal KBs.
- Travel to other local company facilities as needed to provide on-site IT support.
- Act as a facilities-related point of contact by identifying maintenance or operational needs and coordinating with internal stakeholders, property management, and outside vendors as appropriate.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to evolve with changing organizational needs.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to recognize when an incident needs to be escalated.
- Expected to adhere to CTI, ISO 27001, and SOC2 policies due to access to sensitive information.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to CTI’s study process, quality control requirements, and management expectations.
Technical tools you’ll use: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, Apple iPhones.

Education and experience
- Associate’s degree in an IT related field (preferred)
- 2+ years technical support experience preferred
- Relevant technical training and/or certifications (for example, Microsoft, A+) are a plus
