Job Description
On-site IT Tech Support role delivering deskside hardware and software assistance, virus management, asset tracking, and network troubleshooting for Cognizant clients in Foster City, CA.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site hardware and software support to client locations, including break/fix services
- Perform deskside support tasks such as PC staging, asset management, software installations, PC troubleshooting, printer support, processing remedy tickets, ensuring compliance tasks, managing user accounts, and providing end-user assistance
- Implement and maintain virus detection and removal procedures
- Diagnose end-user system failures and apply repair solutions
- Troubleshoot network devices to ensure PC connectivity to the corporate network
Requirements
- Deskside troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Mac systems
- Experience with iOS systems
- Ability to resolve Windows 7/10 and macOS operating system issues
- Proficient in the latest Microsoft Office applications (Office 365)
- ServiceNow or related ITSM ticketing tool experience
- Printer and scanner support experience
- Knowledgeable in customer infrastructure support
- Mobile device support experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with computer asset tracking
- Experience with user ID creation
- Some experience with support and administration of network phones (VoIP system)
- Understanding of Symantec Virus Scan software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when moving electronic equipment
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Team player
- Fluent in English and Spanish

Salary
USD 50,000 - 57,500 per year, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate
Compensation and incentives
- Eligible for Cognizant discretionary annual incentive program based on performance
