IT Technician – MSP Onsite & Help Desk

An in-office IT Technician role based in Albuquerque supports MSP clients with a hands-on mix of help desk duties and on-site service. This position at LDD Consulting, Inc. centers on proactive IT support, troubleshooting, and project-based work across Windows servers, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD, while reinforcing cybersecurity and network fundamentals for varied client environments.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated help desk tickets requiring advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Travel on-site to client sites for hands-on fixes, installations, and project work.
• Address complex issues involving Windows servers, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, networking, and related technologies.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize hardware, networks, and business applications.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) policies to keep clients secure.

Requirements

• Four or more years of IT support experience in an MSP or multi-client environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and networking.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and data backup/recovery.
• Enjoys working with people while solving technical issues.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for onsite work.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively, while diligently documenting work and following processes.
