Junior Product Design & Technical Support
Job Description
Based in Stephenville, Texas, Bison Innovative Products is seeking a Junior Product Design and Technical Support specialist to work onsite. This role blends mechanical development with hands-on testing and real-world application support, delivering technical guidance to internal teams and external customers while assisting with third-party certifications. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering and at least two years of relevant experience are required, with a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical development tasks
- Lead product design from initial concept through production readiness
- Create and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Produce technical datasheets, installation guides, and engineering reports
- Conduct materials testing
- Develop test protocols as needed
- Apply Building Code and Specification knowledge in practice
- Proficient with SolidWorks
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel to different job sites; travel typically under 5%
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Solid mechanical awareness and understanding
- Experience in product design and technical drawings
- Proficiency in statistics
- 3D printing experience is preferred
- Experience with polymers and composites preferred

Physical requirements
