Junior Product Design & Technical Support

Based in Stephenville, Texas, Bison Innovative Products is seeking a Junior Product Design and Technical Support specialist to work onsite. This role blends mechanical development with hands-on testing and real-world application support, delivering technical guidance to internal teams and external customers while assisting with third-party certifications. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering and at least two years of relevant experience are required, with a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical development tasks
• Lead product design from initial concept through production readiness
• Create and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Produce technical datasheets, installation guides, and engineering reports
• Conduct materials testing
• Develop test protocols as needed
• Apply Building Code and Specification knowledge in practice
• Proficient with SolidWorks
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to travel to different job sites; travel typically under 5%
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Solid mechanical awareness and understanding
• Experience in product design and technical drawings
• Proficiency in statistics
• 3D printing experience is preferred
• Experience with polymers and composites preferred
