In this Technical Support Specialist role, you’ll support day-to-day IT needs and onboarding while helping troubleshoot issues that impact productivity. If you enjoy solving technical problems and taking ownership of outcomes, this is a hands-on position where learning new technologies is part of the work.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day IT needs, onboarding new team members, and helping ensure systems run smoothly
  • Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in an IT helpdesk environment providing tier 1 customer service to end users (CompTIA A+ preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 preferred
  • Experience working in a Windows-based environment
  • Basic understanding of networking, VPNs, and Firewalls
  • Experience performing minor hardware repairs and upgrades
  • Audio/Visual experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills

Compensation and Schedule

  • Salary: USD 57,000 - 67,000 per year
  • Location: Silver Spring, MD (hybrid)
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely
