Technical Support Engineer - UPS

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is hiring a Senior Service Technician (UPS) to support UPS technicians and customers through an escalation process, while strengthening the capability of the service team. This hybrid role is focused on hands-on troubleshooting, coaching, and helping build a national UPS service offering as the business scales.

Working around the Philadelphia area, you will split your time between remote support and local site visits, providing technical guidance when complex issues arise and supporting technicians with UPS maintenance and service best practices. There is also a clear progression route toward a Regional Service Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to UPS technicians and customers, acting as an escalation point for complex issues
• Train and coach technicians on UPS maintenance and service best practice
• Work in a hybrid setup (approximately 50/50), with local customer site support as required
• Help support the growth of a new UPS service arm as the organization expands nationally
• Operate within a role that includes a clear progression route toward Regional Service Manager

Requirements

• Strong background in UPS maintenance/service with hands-on troubleshooting experience
• Comfort supporting others through technical coaching, guidance, and customer-facing communication
• Based around the Philadelphia area and able to travel locally to customer sites

Compensation and Benefits

• $125,000 - $150,000 per year plus bonus
