You will provide technical support to staff and management for H&R Block's proprietary software, data security, and IRS and tax tools, while mentoring teammates and training office staff on new applications. It’s a hands-on position that supports a collaborative, security-aware office environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver tech support in person or through video, phone, chat, and email to address issues related to proprietary software, data security, and IRS/tax tools.
- Prepare technical reports focused on data security measures and risk analysis.
- Maintain technology upgrades and offer recommendations on new software and tools to increase client retention and meet office goals.
- Assist staff and clients with guidance on IRS tools and other tax software.
- Mentor teammates and support colleagues in using all office programs effectively.
- Provide monthly trainings for office staff on new applications and software.
- Keep maintenance logs, including the annual WISP, up to date.
Requirements
- Experience in software development or technology support.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with virtual tools, including video, phone, and chat.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Technical Support knowledge assessment.
- Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
