Technical Support Representative

Diversified Machine Systems, LLC is seeking a Technical Support Representative to support customers with CNC routers from the Colorado Springs, CO area on an onsite basis. In this role, you will help resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues remotely by troubleshooting step by step, documenting findings, and coordinating next actions when repairs or parts are required.

You will be at the center of customer support for CNC equipment, turning incoming questions into actionable service cases and clear troubleshooting guidance. As you work, you will build practical expertise in CNC controls, servo systems, and router components through on-the-job training.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with CNC routers over the phone or through remote support.
• Walk customers through basic troubleshooting steps and determine when a technician visit or replacement part is needed.
• Coordinate with field service technicians and parts departments to support timely repairs.
• Create and manage service cases, order parts, and document solutions for future reference.
• Develop knowledge of CNC controls, servo systems, and router components through on-the-job training.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience repairing, maintaining, or troubleshooting machinery, equipment, or mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with CNC, automation, manufacturing, cable systems, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple service cases.
• Comfort using a computer to log information and process service orders.
• Customer-focused attitude and willingness to help and learn.

Compensation and benefits

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
