Responsibilities
- Provide real-time technical support for C5ISR TSIG Programs, including Picketline, TSPRING, and SCAMP, using remote access and specialized diagnostic tools as required
- Support TSIG as a system of systems comprising persistent, non-persistent, and survey SIGINT components with a novel network transport layer
- Deliver system and network troubleshooting with advanced diagnostics and anomaly resolution
- Resolve escalated Tier 1 tickets to restore operations
- Perform system recovery activities such as reboots and restoration after network or power outages
- Restart mission system services and operating system services as needed
- Create dataflow issue tickets and coordinate with external dataflow partners for problem resolution
- Validate and troubleshoot RF data and related applications
- Conduct network and application-level troubleshooting when RF is unavailable to sensor software
- Collaborate with analysts to enable or troubleshoot specific signal detection and collection
- Coordinate Field Support Representative (FSR) support for touch labor
- Track and report hardware problems
- Respond to Cyber Security Alerts and implement required actions
- Respond to System Alerts and initiate the prescribed response plan
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or an equivalent technical Bachelor’s degree with nine years of total experience; or 3-5 years of direct IT and information assurance experience; or other relevant disciplines, with additional years of experience substituting for a degree
- IAT II Level certification aligned with DoD 8570
- Certifications such as Linux+, Microsoft Windows Certified Administrator, or Red Hat Certified Administration
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Fundamental understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies (KVM LKVM, ESXi, Hyper-V, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- Requires a TS/SCI security clearance to begin and maintain employment; a current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph or higher is required; dual citizenship is disqualifying
- 3 to 5 years of IT and information assurance experience, including industry development contracting or DoW background
- Ability to read and interpret network and electronic diagrams and troubleshoot system errors
- Ability to create, manage, resolve, escalate and close ITSM tickets using tools such as JIRA Service Management or I-Help
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with Red Hat Linux
