Job Description

The Help Desk Technician at AdvancedHEALTH is an onsite role in Goodlettsville, TN, delivering first-line IT assistance for billing staff and physician practices. Responsibilities include incident response, documentation, and resolution, while coordinating the receipt, configuration, deployment, and on-site support of IT assets across multiple locations. The position offers a salary of USD 50,000 to 55,000 per year and requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate customer service on a daily basis
  • Log and document end-user software and hardware incidents and tickets
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, implement corrective actions, and resolve issues expediently
  • Escalate unresolved items to the appropriate support team
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment and report and correct unsafe situations per procedures
  • Maintain awareness of fraud, abuse, and HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Attend regular compliance meetings and contribute observations and suggestions to improve practices
  • Handle patient information with confidentiality to ensure continuity of care
  • Interact professionally with patients, clients, physicians, and staff to uphold a positive facility environment
  • Adhere to Service Satisfaction principles and participate in customer service programs
  • Remain professional, courteous, helpful, and cooperative; adapt to changing duties as needed
  • Show initiative to provide high-quality service and anticipate team needs
  • Foster positive working relationships and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Utilize available resources, including managers, technical support, and equipment
  • Provide on-site service following remote diagnosis
  • Perform other duties as assigned
