Help Desk Technician (IT Support Specialist I)
Job Description
Price Transfer, Inc seeks an on-site Help Desk Technician to provide desk-side and field IT support across office and warehouse environments in Compton, CA.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows, Microsoft Office, user logins, printers, and network connectivity.
- Provide support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Track and manage end-user tickets using Freshservice.
- Install, deploy, and replace hardware and equipment as required.
- Deliver field support and conduct installations at both office and warehouse sites.
- Assist with device inventory, staging, and decommissioning processes.
- Escalate complex issues with thorough documentation and troubleshooting notes.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of help desk or IT support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and customer-service mindset.
- Experience with Active Directory and ticketing systems.
- Willingness to perform physical IT tasks and travel between locations.
- Excellent communication, accountability, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the IT team.

NICE TO HAVE

Work Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel between locations/sites as needed
- Availability for occasional after-hours or emergency support
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable performing physical IT work including installations, mounting equipment, and cabling assistance
