Job Description

Asurion's In-Home Sales & Tech Support role in Wichita, KS is a full-time, on-site position that requires daily travel to customer residences. The role mixes sales with technical support, begins with paid training, follows a consistent five-day schedule, and offers the potential for commissions, all with a base pay of $20 per hour.

Benefits

  • Base hourly rate of $20 per hour, guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly pay and early access to earned pay.

Responsibilities

  • Represent customers through Asurion's Serve, Solve, Sell approach on every interaction.
  • Begin with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
  • Learn products and gain hands-on sales experience while building communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to support growth and maintain confidence in tech-savvy service.
  • In the field, apply the Serve, Solve, Sell model by meeting customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are, with pre-scheduled interactions designed to help you meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire interaction, always prioritizing the customer first.
  • Solve technical issues by applying expertise to deliver clear, understandable solutions for customers with any level of tech knowledge.
  • Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product that addresses future tech needs.
  • Sell by leveraging Asurion’s growing range of products to offer tailored solutions based on customer needs.
  • Listen actively to identify customer requirements and position products accordingly.
  • Use strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot effectively and close appropriate sales.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
  • A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
  • A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Travel to neighborhoods and cities around the inventory warehouse, with a maximum expected distance of 120 miles one-way.
  • Work a varied five-day week schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
  • Comfortable working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills across career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing and comfortable with frequent human interaction.
  • Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
