Asurion offers a part-time, on-site opportunity in Houston that blends in-home tech support with proactive sales. You’ll receive a clear base pay, generous incentive potential, and a supported onboarding path, including paid training and a structured schedule that accommodates afternoon and evening availability. Responsibilities

  • Begin with paid training to prepare you to operate confidently in the field
  • Engage customers in their homes, at their offices, or wherever they are located
  • Leverage pre-scheduled customer interactions to work toward and exceed sales targets
  • Deliver consistently excellent customer service with the customer at the center of every interaction
  • Apply your knowledge to troubleshoot tech issues and provide clear, accessible solutions
  • Ensure customers leave with a resolution that works and a product aligned with future tech needs
  • Utilize Asurion’s expanding product lineup to tailor solutions for each customer
  • Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products accordingly
  • Use persuasive communication and negotiation skills to guide conversations toward the right sale

Requirements

  • Comfortable in a sales environment with set targets
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded)
  • Personal vehicle required (no motorcycles); travel up to 120 miles one-way to neighborhoods around the inventory warehouse
  • Flexible 5-day week including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Personal cellphone for on-the-job connectivity
  • Comfortable working around household pets
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning diverse skills applicable to multiple career paths
  • Naturally outgoing and energized by interacting with people
  • Note: Hours may vary with business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required

Part-time Schedule

  • Most roles follow a 5-day schedule from 4:05 PM to 9:00 PM, with end times varying by customer needs
  • In select markets, a flexible 4+ day option may be available: 25 hours per week across at least 4 days, including one weekend day; shifts run roughly 12:05 PM to 9:00 PM, start as late as 4:00 PM, and you must be available until 9:00 PM on scheduled days
  • If the flexible option exists in your market, you may choose between the standard and flexible schedules
