Job Description
The In-Home Sales and Tech Support role is a part-time, onsite opportunity in Schiller Park, IL, combining field sales with technical assistance at customers’ residences. It emphasizes a Serve, Solve, Sell approach, with paid training and a compensation package that includes base pay, commissions, mileage reimbursement, and a phone stipend.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in their homes, offices, or other locations on a pre-scheduled basis to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional service throughout each interaction, prioritizing the customer experience.
- Apply technical know-how to identify and resolve issues, offering clear solutions regardless of the customer’s level of tech comfort.
- Ensure customers leave with a workable resolution and a product aligned to their future tech needs.
- Leverage a growing product range to tailor solutions, actively listen to uncover needs, position offerings effectively, and use negotiation and communication skills to close the sale.
- Begin with paid training to prepare for independent field work.
- Support the business during its busiest hours.
Requirements
- Comfort in a performance-driven sales environment with set targets.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
- Proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
- Personal vehicle (motorcycles not accepted). Travel within neighborhoods and cities surrounding the inventory warehouse, up to 120 miles one-way.
- Varied five-day workweek designed to meet customers on their schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Personal cellphone to stay informed on the job.
- Comfort with working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad range of skills applicable across careers.
- Naturally outgoing and comfortable with frequent human interaction.

Pay and Benefits
- Base hourly rate of $26.90, plus mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines (paid weekly).
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance (paid bi-weekly).
- Phone stipend of $35 per month.
- Earned pay can be accessed early, with bi-weekly payroll for base and commissions.
- Three weeks of paid training, prioritizing your success.
Part-Time Schedule
This is a part-time role with afternoon and evening availability required. Onsite work in Schiller Park, IL, with a focus on engaging customers during peak demand periods.
