In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time)
Job Description
Part-time in-home sales and tech support in Tallahassee, FL (onsite) requiring daily travel to customer residences, with paid training and a Serve, Solve, Sell approach.
Responsibilities
- Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are, with pre-scheduled interactions to hit sales targets.
- Provide consistent, customer-first service throughout every interaction.
- Apply technical expertise to address and resolve customers’ issues, delivering clear solutions for any level of tech knowledge.
- Ensure customers leave with a working resolution and a product addressing future tech needs.
- Leverage Asurion’s growing product range to tailor solutions for each customer.
- Listen actively to identify needs and position products that meet them.
- Use negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close appropriate sales.
- Begin with paid training to prepare for independent field work.
Requirements
- Comfortable in a sales environment with set targets.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan area excluded).
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles) for neighborhood and city visits around the inventory warehouse; travel up to 120 miles one-way.
- 5-day workweek with a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer timelines.
- Personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
- Open-minded and eager to learn a wide range of skills for different career paths.
- Outgoing and comfortable with frequent human interaction.
- Note: Hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.

- Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked and paid bi-weekly; earnings can be accessed early.
- Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
- Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
- Phone stipend of $35, paid monthly.
- Three weeks of paid training, with a focus on your success.
Pay Rate
$20.05 hourly plus mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commission.
Part-Time Schedule
- 5 evenings per week, hours from 4:05pm to 9:00pm.
