Job Description

Part-time in-home sales and tech support in Raleigh, NC with daily customer visits, paid training, earnings potential, and an evenings-focused schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Serve, Solve, Sell approach on the front lines to assist customers.
  • Complete paid training before independently working in the field.
  • Learn products and gain hands-on sales experience while building communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to support growth and maintain confidence and tech proficiency.
  • Meet customers in their homes, in offices, or wherever they are, with pre-scheduled interactions aimed at meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every interaction, keeping the customer first.
  • Apply technical know-how to diagnose and resolve issues, providing clear solutions for all levels of tech knowledge.
  • Ensure customers leave with a workable resolution and a product lineup that addresses future tech needs.
  • Leverage Asurion product offerings to tailor solutions to individual customers.
  • Actively listen to uncover needs and position products to meet those needs effectively.
  • Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close appropriate sales.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with defined targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
  • Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer appointments located in neighborhoods around the inventory warehouse; travel up to 120 miles one-way.
  • Flexible 5-day work week designed to meet customers on their schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
  • Comfortable working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad set of skills applicable to various career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing and thrives in human interaction.
  • Work hours may vary with business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.
  • Daily travel to customer residences; local in-home field role, not remote.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly payroll and the option to access earned pay early.
  • Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
  • Mileage reimbursement according to IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
  • $35 phone stipend paid monthly.
  • Three weeks of paid training to support initial success.
