Job Description

Join Asurion Insurance Services for a part-time, in-home sales and tech support role based in Memphis, TN. This onsite position combines daily visits to customer residences with paid training and a Serve/Solve/Sell approach, featuring an evenings-friendly schedule and clear incentives. The role offers a competitive base hourly rate of $23, with abundant opportunities to grow through performance.

Benefits

  • Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked, with bi-weekly pay and the option to access earned pay early.
  • Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
  • Mileage reimbursement based on IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
  • Phone stipend of $35, paid monthly.
  • Training includes 3 weeks paid, with emphasis on your success in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Meet customers in their homes, in offices, or other convenient locations as needed.
  • Pre-schedule interactions to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering strong service quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the interaction, always prioritizing the customer’s needs.
  • Apply your expertise to diagnose and resolve tech issues, delivering solutions that are understandable regardless of the customer’s tech knowledge.
  • Ensure customers leave satisfied with a working resolution and a product that addresses future tech needs.
  • Leverage Asurion’s growing product line to tailor solutions to individual customers.
  • Listen actively to identify needs and position products that meet those needs.
  • Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to guide the appropriate sale.
  • Complete paid training to prepare you for independent field work.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
  • Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles) with travel up to 120 miles one-way to neighborhoods and cities near the inventory warehouse.
  • Varied 5-day workweek including evenings, weekends, and holidays to align with customer availability.
  • Personal cellphone for on-the-job communication.
  • Comfortable working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad set of skills applicable to multiple career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing and thriving in interpersonal interactions.
  • Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility is required.
