Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop to national distributors, licensed installers, IT staff, and end users.
• Resolve client issues by phone or electronic channels to reach timely solutions.
• Test and verify functionality of Audio and CCTV security equipment; support PC, Mac software, and mobile applications.
• Track customer issues and resolutions within the HubSpot ticketing system.
• Assist with computer software and hardware configuration, networking, security, and network implementation.

Qualifications and requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Certification or degree in Electronics (Engineering, Design, or Research and Development) from a trade school or college.
• Certification or degree in Computer Sciences (Computer Hardware, Software, Networking, and/or Programming) from a trade school or college.
• Ability to speak and write clearly in English.
• Knowledge of relevant products and networking.
• Previous experience in IT, customer service, or related fields.
• Ability to build rapport with clients, strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Multi-tasking capabilities and a positive, professional demeanor.
• Full-time availability.

Core skills

• IP networking basics including ports, DHCP, and VLAN concepts
• NVR/DVR troubleshooting
• Camera configuration using ONVIF and RTSP
• Access control basics such as readers and controllers
• Bonus familiarity with SIP and audio systems
