IT Desktop Support

Provide frontline IT desktop support to internal users while building practical experience across Microsoft environments, end user applications, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional, and effective support to internal users
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by internal users
• Continuously learn on the job while building a strong foundation for an IT career

Requirements

• Australian citizen with eligibility to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance at the level required for the position
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
• Familiarity with MS Office and common applications
• Understanding of Windows desktop, Windows Server, networks, and hardware setup
• Exposure to troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
• Awareness of VPN and remote access support
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Highly Desirable

• Experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
• Experience using service desk call logging tools
• Experience supporting executive or senior staff
• Networking and desktop troubleshooting skills

Special Requirements

• Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
• Employment may be contingent on providing further personal information, including citizenship, to meet international export control legislation and regulations
