IT Desktop Support
Job Description
Provide frontline IT desktop support to internal users while building practical experience across Microsoft environments, end user applications, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, professional, and effective support to internal users
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by internal users
- Continuously learn on the job while building a strong foundation for an IT career
Requirements
- Australian citizen with eligibility to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance at the level required for the position
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
- Familiarity with MS Office and common applications
- Understanding of Windows desktop, Windows Server, networks, and hardware setup
- Exposure to troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
- Awareness of VPN and remote access support
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
Highly Desirable
- Experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
- Experience using service desk call logging tools
- Experience supporting executive or senior staff
- Networking and desktop troubleshooting skills
Special Requirements
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
