IT Help Desk Specialist
Job Description
Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a frontline IT Help Desk Specialist to provide hands-on user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for staff in an on-site role in San Francisco. Working with the IT team, this position helps maintain systems and ensures reliable assistance across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Address and close user support requests received by phone, email, or through remote desktop sessions.
- Identify and resolve problems across hardware, software, and network components.
- Deliver concise and helpful technical guidance to end users.
- Log all support tickets and their resolutions in the help desk system.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Work with fellow IT colleagues to improve user support and overall system reliability.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.
- Demonstrated experience in an IT Help Desk Support or equivalent technical support role.
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician are advantageous.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
